London will see the second five-a-side football tournament for the fund of hedge funds industry. Hedgecasa will host the event which is taking place on 1st May 2008 at the Seymour Leisure in Marylebone, walking distance from Mayfair, London's hedge fund centre.
12/03/2008: Hedgecasa Workshop at Investor & Hedge Fund Risk Summit
Hedgecasa presents a workshop on hedge fund data standardisation at the Investor & Hedge Fund Risk Summit taking place at 3 West Club, New York City. During the workshop we look at problems associated with a lack of data standards in the hedge fund industry as well as issues regarding data security within distributed systems and developments in other industries. Finally we discuss our own research and tools which can resolve data standardization in a robust and efficient manner.
10/03/2008: Hedgecasa attending Hedge Fund Replication & Alternative Beta conference
This conference provides a great opportunity to look at a structured and institutionalised future for hedge fund investing and is taking place at Hotel Russell, London. Alternative beta factors will provide an alternative to traditional hedge fund investing while also making hedge fund selection more sophisticated as investors can ascertain whether performance is attributed to alternative beta or true alpha. It makes the need for fully structured information even more urgent, something we have always believed in at Hedgecasa.
03/01/2008 [8pm-11pm]: Hedgecasa New Year Networking Event
Hedgecasa is hosting a New Year networking event at Occo Bar on 3rd January 2008. Food and drinks will be served from 8pm where you will get a chance to network with funds of hedge funds, service providers and venture capitalists. The event also serves as post-tournament drinks for the London Fund of Funds Five-a-side Showdown football tournament taking place nearby at the Seymour Leisure Centre and will include the award for Best Fund of Funds Footballer.

If you're a benchwarmer or can't make it to the games, but are interested in talking football and hedge funds, there will be post-tournament drinks and food at Occo Bar, nearby on Crawford Street.
